Sourdough bread uses a starter, a naturally fermented mixture of flour and water that will give a beautiful rise to your baked goodswithout the use of yeast. INGREDIENTS: Wheat Flour, Water, Sourdough Culture (Wheat Flour, Water), Whole Wheat Flour, Sea Salt, Malted Barley Flour, Enzymes. This implies that our loaves might be on a "milder side of the sour". Store the bread for a few days at room temperature, wrapped loosely in plastic freeze for longer storage.
